Conference day venue
The conference day of WordCamp Oslo will be held at Kulturhuset, Youngs gate 6. Want a closer look at the venue? Read more about Kulturhuset
Kulturhuset has a long tradition of bringing people together in the heart of Oslo. WordCamp at Kulturhuset will give you an intimate feeling, and still lots of space to mingle and have fun. The event will take place over 3 floors, with 2 speaker tracks. The afterparty will also take place at Kulturhuset.
Contributor day venue
The contributor day will be held at Citybox hotel, in the centre of Oslo. Citybox is a 10min walk from Kulturhuset, and 4 minutes from Oslo Central Station.
Community day on the 4th of March (Sunday)
We’ll put together a social event on the 4th, where we can meet and do something fun! Follow our Twitter, or Facebook to stay updated on what we have in store for Community day.
Travel
There’s only a 7 minutes walk from Kulturhuset to Jernbanetorget and Oslo central station, which is the largest transfer point in Oslo. The NSB trains and The Airport Express train all makes stops here.
Hotels
Citybox Oslo
Citybox is the hotel where the contributor day will be held, and it is close to the conference venue, Kulturhuset.

Comfort Hotel Xpress Oslo Central Station

One of the closest hotel to the venue is Comfort Hotel Xpress, which is a 5 minute walk from the venue. This is one of the cheapest hotels in the area.
Comfort Hotel Karl Johan
You’ll find this hotel in the main street of Oslo, a 3 minutes walk from the train stations and a 5 minute walk from Kulturhuset.

Eating
Breakfast, lunch and a light dinner is included in your ticket. But, if are not local and want to check out what Oslo has to offer during your stay, we recommend a trip to Grünerløkka, or you could check out Mathallen which is a food court that offers a wide range of culinary experiences.
